Emergency phone zap: 10 paid sick days now!
On July 31, the Workers Income Protection Benefit (WIPB) which provided Ontario workers with 3 temporary paid sick days is set to expire. The WIPB was already inadequate and far from what workers need.
As we brace for a possible seventh wave of COVID-19 in the fall, workers will once again be left with zero protections against illnesses.
Join us in calling our representatives to demand immediate action on 10 permanent employer-paid sick days!

Decent Work Organizing Meeting
This meeting will be held online using Zoom. There will be ASL and live captions provided in English. Please RSVP to receive a link to join the meeting.
We are fighting for a $20 minimum wage; 10 paid sick days; increasing social assistance rates; equal pay; and real protections for frontline workers, including gig workers, temp agency workers, part-time workers and casual workers.
Because of workers across the province, governments and the big business lobby are feeling the pressure. So let’s keep up the fight! Don’t miss this decent work organizing meeting. Your participation is crucial to improving working conditions in Ontario.
