Right-wing politicians are blaming immigrants for the housing and affordability crisis, distracting from the real issues of corporate greed and government failures. Cuts to healthcare, housing, education, and social services have hurt all workers, including immigrants. They want us divided so we don't unite against those profiting from our struggles. The federal Liberals are also shutting down immigration avenues and have not delivered on their promise of permanent resident status for undocumented people.
We must act now to stop xenophobia before it gets worse. Let's reject the scapegoating of immigrants.
