Half the world’s people are women, and all are oppressed. In no nation do women participate in society as the social equals of men.
What lies at the root of women’s oppression? What would real liberation mean, and what would it take to win it?
Most women are working class. They are oppressed as women and as workers. What would liberation mean for them? Is equality with working-class men sufficient or do they need something more?
How can we overcome divisions rooted in nationality, racism, religion, sexuality, and gender expression?
