ASL interpretation will be provided. At this meeting, we will:
- Build support for Canadian Hearing Services workers (members of CUPE 2073) who have been forced out on strike for almost 8 weeks. Members of CUPE 2073 will join us to share experiences and plan next steps.
- Assess the fight for better labour laws, an accessible Employment Insurance system, and why we need governments at all levels to address the tariff and cost of living crises by putting workers and communities first.
- Continue the fight for high quality, $10 a day child care delivered by an adequate number of workers earning fair wages. We'll plan next steps in the fight to restore $2.50 wage cut for LEF child care workers.
- Support postal workers in their fight for affordable, reliable postal services.
