The cost of living is rising, and our wages won't pay the bills. When we can't take it anymore and strike back, we are blocked from striking effectively.
Enough is enough!
Canada’s Supreme Court has affirmed the right to strike, yet unions and strikers face heavy fines and even jail time for exercising that legal right.

CUPE locals are asking CUPE National to launch a "Right to Strike Campaign" to end all restrictions on strike action.
The Canadian Federation of Students voted for a 2026 National Student Strike to reduce tuition fees and divest from industries that harm the environment and violate human rights. Exercising our right to strike is critical to win these and other demands.
