Tariffs and other moves by US President Donald Trump are causing a lot of fear. Many of us don’t know what Trump’s actions–or the response from our own governments–will mean for our jobs, families, and communities.

Join us for an Emergency Town Hall to learn more about tariffs, their impact, and what action we can take to ensure workers have essential protections regardless of our job or immigration status.

We’ll talk about what we need from all levels of government, including: adequate weekly income and better access to Employment Insurance; a moratorium on rent hikes and evictions; a freeze on food prices; and an end to corporate profiteering. Crucially, we need urgent investment in public services and public infrastructure to keep life affordable for everyone. Click here for a full list of emergency measures governments must take.
