Postal workers, education workers, transit workers, municipal workers, and healthcare workers are fighting to protect the public services we rely on:
Extra line space
- Defunding and privatizing social services lower our standard of living, forcing us to pay out-of-pocket or go without.
- The money is there! Between 2000 and 2019, Canada’s governments lost $741 billion to tax cuts. That's more than enough to fund quality public services for everyone.
- It’s outrageous to increase military spending while refusing to fund social programs like healthcare and affordable housing. Immigrant workers are not to blame for shortages caused by such policy decisions!
- Protecting public-sector jobs is the key to protecting the services they provide
