Outreach Action - Protect workers!

Governments at all levels must take immediate action to protect workers and communities from the cost-of-living and tariff crisis.
Everyone needs at least $600 a week in income, either through Employment Insurance or emergency income support. Governments must legislate a moratorium on evictions, a freeze on increases in the cost of food and rent, and ensure permanent rent control for all tenants.
We need real investment in public services (healthcare, housing, transit) and infrastructure to help offset job losses while also providing services that make life more affordable for all of us.
Profitable corporations must pay their fair share of public services and infrastructure.
We'll meet from 8:00 am to 9:00 am at the front entrance of Dundas West Station.
