Emergency Action for Education
This event is organized by East End Parents 4 Public Education
ASL interpretation will be provided for this online action.
We need ongoing, adequate, and predictable funding for our public education system! And with the ongoing impacts of the pandemic, it's more important than ever to ensure that all students have the resources they need to thrive.
Join our online emergency action on Tuesday, May 16 at 7:30 pm. Register now to receive the Zoom link!
How will it work? After connecting on Zoom, we will review our key messages together, then we will all contact Premier Doug Ford, Education Minister Stephen Lecce, as well as our own MPPs. Our action will be "freestyle" - meaning we can send emails, tag our elected representatives on social media, and also make phone calls to leave messages.
When our schools are funded properly, that means better working conditions for education workers and better learning conditions for students. Let's work together to ensure that our students have the support they need to succeed!
