Join us for outreach ahead of the June 2nd Ontario election. Let’s talk with workers in our community about why we should vote for decent work, including a $20 minimum wage, paid sick days, protections for gig workers, and more. Eglinton-Lawrence's current MPP Robin Martin voted against paid sick days over 25 times and was part of the Conservative government that cancelled the minimum wage hike in 2018.
We will be talking with people in the area asking them to pledge to vote for decent work and handing out our campaign leaflets. Meet us at the Northwest corner of Bathurst St and Lawrence Ave (outside Winners and Metro)!
