There's enough for us all!
- In 2025, workers in Canada produced three times more wealth than we did in 2000. Yet our wages and standard of living continue to fall.
- Some say the problem is too many people so we must close our borders to newcomers. This cannot be true. Over those 25 years, Canada’s population rose only 22 percent, while the wealth we produced rose 300 percent! This wealth was stolen by the corporate class.
- Between 2000 and 2025, corporate profits in Canada soared from $318 billion to a record $677 billion, while the corporate tax rate was cut from 30 percent to 18.3 percent. The tax loss of more than $1 trillion over the past two decades was taken from health care, education, housing, and other social programs.
- For centuries, the lie that scarcity is caused by too many needy people has diverted attention from a profit-run system that enriches the few and impoverishes the many.
