War is an absolute disaster for the working class. Every dollar spent on war is a dollar not spent on healthcare, housing, education, infrastructure, and a cleaner environment.
Ballooning military budgets dismantle public services that actually protect people's health and safety. Instead of spending a fortune on war, we could be raising living standards. We could be building hospitals, houses, and schools instead of bombing them.
WE CAN STOP WAR!
The war machine cannot function without the labour of ordinary people. Every tank, missile, ship, drone, bomb, plane, helicopter, and uniform needed for war is produced, transported, maintained, and operated by workers.
War depends on convincing us that "the other" is the enemy. Class solidarity breaks that delusion. Workers in every nation want the same things: safety, dignity, stability, and a future for their children. War delivers deprivation, destruction, and death.
The real conflict is between those who profit from war and those who suffer from it.
The war machine depends on our labour and our consent. By standing together, we can withhold our labour, withdraw our consent, and transform society to provide what people need.
