Federal truck drivers face wage theft on a daily basis. 85% of confirmed employer wage violations are from the trucking industry. The lack of enforcement by the Labour Program allows companies to continue violating workers’ rights without fear.

Truck drivers need immediate improvements to the Labour Claims process including: extending the deadline to file claims to 2 years, faster processing of claims, expanded powers to enforce payment orders, and real consequences for employers that break the law.
