MONTREAL: Sunday, July 18, 11 am, Square Cabot, 2322 Saint-Catherine Street West, Rally

OTTAWA: Sunday, July 25, 2 pm, Major’s Hill Park/corner of Murray and Mackenzie, Rally

The march comes as migrants across the country have been calling for full and permanent immigration status for all. A hard-fought campaign has led to creating a new pathway to immigration program -- but this new program is still woefully inadequate. As a result, the vast majority of working-class, racialized and particularly undocumented people are shut out of permanent resident status.

Migrants continue to live in a state of crisis, but the crisis has dramatically deepened in the pandemic's wake. At least 14 farmworkers have died in Canada this year alone. Another half a dozen international students have died by suicide.

Now is the time to take action and organize to ensure full and permanent immigration status for all!
