Emergency Rally: Stop the Layoffs at Regency Park Long-term Care

UniversalCare has recently issued layoff notices to seven frontline staff at Regency Park Long-Term Care Home in Windsor. Despite facing staffing shortages like many other long-term care homes in Ontario, UniversalCare has chosen to lay off essential workers, including dietary aides, personal support workers, and nurses, citing 'budget issues'. Notably, many of these workers have dedicated decades of service to the facility.
