Outreach for Safe Schools

As schools open in September during a seventh wave of the pandemic, our provincial government must take urgent action to keep our schools safe. This means legislating at least 10 paid sick days for all workers so that parents and educators can stay home if sick and curb the spread of infectious disease. 

Join parents, teachers, and pediatricians on August 20 in front of Christie Pits Park to talk to the community about keeping kids safe in school. We will be collecting signatures and leafleting about the campaign to win 10 paid sick days.

We will be meeting at the southeast corner of the park (across from Christie Station) - look for our banner! Hope to see you there.
