Pan-Canadian Day of Action: Stop the 40% Cut to the CRB
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
The federal government is planning to cut the Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB) by 40% on July 17, 2021. This cut will be devastating for the more than 800,000 workers who rely on the federal income support program to make ends meet. Workers are already struggling to live on $500 each week. If they proceed, more than 780,000 workers will lose $800 per month.
If you're in Toronto, join us on Saturday, July 10 at 11:00 am at the corner of Bloor and Spadina (near Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland's constituency office). Please click here for more information.
Not in Toronto? Click here or RSVP below to find out how you can support the July 10 day of action anywhere in Canada. It’s not too late to stop this cut to CRB but we need to make our voices heard. There's not a second to lose!
