Outreach at Tamil Fest

We will be doing outreach in two shifts starting at 3 pm and 7 pm. You may come to either or both. 

Join us for decent work outreach at Tamil Fest! TAMILFEST is the largest Tamil Street Festival outside of the Indian subcontinent. Tamil Fest showcases the rich cultural heritage, arts, music, cuisine, history, and pride of Tamil Culture to Canada’s diverse communities.

This fun event full of cultural showcases, cuisine and music is a great opportunity to talk to the community about Justice for Workers. To help with leafleting and petitioning, meet us at 3 pm and 5 pm at the Tamil Poonka School (3001 Markham Rd, Unit 21). This annual street festival is happening between McNicoll Ave and Passmore Ave on Markham Road.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided for all participants. TTC fares will be given to members of the Workers' Action Centre.
