Workers like you are fighting back against bad bosses, low wages, and unfair working conditions. It is our unity that gives our decent work movement the power to fight back and win. But that's exactly why politicians are trying so hard to divide us. At this meeting, we'll discuss how we can stay in today's divisive political landscape. Specifically, we will:
- Discuss why upcoming changes to Federal immigration policy strips away the basic rights of migrant workers and their families.
- Examine how Ontario's new labour laws only pay lip service to workers rights without providing meaningful protections or enforcement.
- Reflect on workers and students who are fighting back - and winning.
- Invite you to build solidarity through upcoming actions with healthcare workers, childcare workers and college faculty.
