Let's keep the momentum growing for REAL paid sick days - at least 10 permanent, employer-paid days, plus 14 more during public health outbreaks; real protections for temp agency workers; a $20 minimum wage; and so much more. Click here to see the bold agenda for decent work.
Justice for Workers and the Ontario Federation of Labour are co-hosting online decent work organizing meetings each month.
The next meeting is: Tuesday, May 18 2021, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Thanks to your incredible effort, there is growing momentum for safe and healthy workplaces for all. From paid sick days to migrant justice, and from decent wages to safe schools, your actions are making a difference!
We use these meetings to organize for:
  • Safe and healthy workplaces (Status for all workers; Employer-paid PPE; Social distancing at work and in all staff quarters; Employer-paid sick leave; Right to refuse unsafe work)
  • Employer-paid sick days for all (At least 10 paid sick days permanently, and an additional 14 days during health outbreaks)
  • Decent income for all (Extend CERB; Fix EI; Make pandemic pay permanent; Raise the minimum wage)
  • Strong communities (Food security; Affordable housing; Accessible public transit; Solidarity)
