On October 1st, the minimum wage goes up 50¢ just to keep up with last year’s inflation rate. Join us to talk with workers in Scarborough about why it’s time for a $20 minimum wage as well as other workplace protections like permanent paid sick days. Meet us at the southwest corner of Markham Rd & Lawrence Ave E (beside the bus stop near Burger King).
